| Sep 2011 – present | Freelance consulting arborist, specialist arboricultural contracting projects and aerial rigging work for film production companies. Consulting projects include hazard tree assessment for Department of Conservation and private individuals, scheduled tree management for Auckland Council, management of works around heritage trees at prominent Auckland landmark sites, provision of detailed arboricultural input for the successful tender for the Puhoi to Warkworth motorway upgrade, dispute resolution services involving tree-related problems and dealing with politically and technically sensitive trees with regard to ongoing management recommendations. |
